Windows 2000 Arabic
Start menu---
Settings---
Control Panel---
Regional Options---
The first tab is general, the Locale should be kept at US, below this box there are languages to choose from in the lower window, click each box of each language that is desired.
Then click on Advanced, and choose from this window all the languages desired. Click OK
Then click on Default, and choose Arabic. (set on Saudi Arabia on laptop) click OK
Then look to tabs on top of window and see the Input Locales tab, click here
Add as many languages as desired,
Here is also where you should find the hot key settings. These are where you set the key that switches the languages back and forth. (ie. Left Alt Control+ Shift) Once finished with these settings click the apply and Ok. NOTE: Default setting should be with Arabic, so that menus can be provided in Arabic. This will not change the language of Win 2k to Arabic, just enables menus. Also note, your locale is the US-English, so that the clocks will be in the American system.
After the Apply and OK, there should be a prompt to restart the computer. It is also possible that at some point in this there will be a prompt to set the Windows 2000 CD in, which is normal, and should be done. If the computer does not automatically find the looked for files, instruct it to look in the I386 files.
After the computer reboots, then look to Start again.

Language settings---
Choose all languages that you desire to have, then apply and Ok.
This should prompt you to restart the computer.
This should be all that is needed to work in Arabic, English.

أكبر خطأ زميلي العزيز هو الترجمة الحرفية و بنفس ترتيب الكلمات في الجملة العربية, فأنت كتبت جملة عربية
(أعني التأكيد على قوله لأنها طريقة لم تنجح معي,على أي حال أنا مهتم كثيرآ)
وترجمتها حرفيآ و بنفس التراتبية إلى الإنكليزية!
!ذكرتني عندما كنا صغار ونعمل حزورات ترجمية إنكليزية,ك

عندما اضطررت لتعلم لإنكليزية خلال وقت قصير, استفدت كثيرآ من الاستماع إلى BBC إداعة
