مصر ترفض تدخل أمريكا في مسألة انتخاباتها
رفضت مصر بشدة اليوم تدخل الولايات المتحدة في مسألة الانتخابات التشريعية التي ستجرى فيها هذا الشهر.

وكانت الولايات المتحدة قالت في بيان يوم الاثنين إنه يجب على مصر أن تسمح بالتجمعات السياسية السلمية وتغطية إعلامية حرة ومراقبين دوليين لانتخابات مجلس الشعب التي ستجرى يوم 28 نوفمبر.

وقال مسؤول في وزارة الخارجية المصرية اليوم "المواقف الأخيرة للإدارة (الأمريكية) تجاه الشؤون الداخلية المصرية هي أمر مرفوض بشكل قاطع من جانب مصر."

وأضاف "مصر تعتز كل الاعتزاز بسيادتها واستقلال إرادتها الوطنية لكن يبدو أن الجانب الأمريكي يصر على عدم احترام خصوصية المجتمع المصري بتصرفات وتصريحات تستفز الشعور الوطني." (يبدو أنها استفزت جمال مبارك) 24

وكان بي. جيه. كراولي المتحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية الأمريكية قال في بيان يوم الاثنين "إن انتخابات نزيهة وشفافة يجب أن تتضمن السماح بالتجمعات السياسية السلمية خلال الحملة الانتخابية ودعوة منظمات المجتمع المدني بحرية إلى توعية الناخبين ومشاركتهم وبيئة إعلامية حرة تتيح تغطية متوازنة لكل المرشحين."

وقال المسؤول في وزارة الخارجية المصرية في التصريحات التي بثتها وكالة أنباء الشرق الأوسط "كأن أمريكا تحولت إلى وصي على كيفية إدارة المجتمع المصري لشؤونه السياسية... من يعتقد أن هذا أمر ممكن فهو واهم."
