لا أعتقد ... فحقوق المرأة السياسية هي جزء من حقوق النساء الأساسية بشكل عام.
حرمان المرأة من حقوقها السياسية في الكويت وغيرها من الأقطار العربية ليس مسألة قطرية، بل هي مسألة "إنسانية" تتعلق "بالذهنية الذكرية" التي ما تزال تسيطر على مجتمعاتنا.
لا حرية لمجتمعاتنا بدون كفالة حريات المرأة وعلى رأسها الحريات الدينية والسياسية.
لا حرية لمجتمعاتنا بدون هذه المساواة التي تكفل لنصف المجتمع بأن يشاركنا حياتنا حقاً دون أن نكون أوصياء عليه. فأن نحرم المرأة من حقها في الحياة السياسية، يعني أن نحرمها من آلية تحقيق متطلباتها الحقيقية وأحلامها المشروعة، وتنصيب أنفسنا ناطقين رسميين باسمها، هي التي لم تخولنا لشغل هذا المنصب.
من هنا فإن نضال النساء من أجل حقوقهن في كل مكان هو نضال لجميع من يريد أن ينقل مجتمعه إلى طور الحداثة والعدل.
"غو أهيد كويتي وومن":) ...
