ارتفاع طلبات إعانة البطالة بأميركا

طلبات إعانة البطالة بالولايات المتحدة ارتفعت بمعدل 19 ألفا الأسبوع الماضي (الفرنسية-أرشيف)


أظهرت بيانات حكومية أميركية اليوم الخميس ارتفاعا غير متوقع وبنسبة 4.1% في الطلبات الجديدة لإعانة البطالة في الولايات المتحدة خلال الأسبوع الماضي, وهو ما يبرز ضعف سوق العمل وهشاشة التعافي الاقتصادي في البلاد وفقا للخبراء.



وقالت وزارة العمل الأميركية إن الطلبات الجديدة للحصول على إعانة البطالة الحكومية زادت بمعدل 19 ألفا في الأسبوع المنتهي في 31 يوليو/تموز مسجلة 479 ألف طلب, وهو أعلى معدل لطلبات إعانة البطالة منذ أوائل أبريل/نيسان.



وكانت التوقعات ترجح تراجع طلبات البطالة إلى 455 ألفا من 457 ألفا المعلنة في الأسبوع السابق, والذي جرى تعديله بزيادة طفيفة إلى 460 ألفا في تقرير اليوم الخميس.



وجاءت البيانات الأسبوعية قبل صدور تقرير رئيسي عن الحكومة الأميركية يوم غد الجمعة يرى معظم الاقتصاديين أنه من المتوقع أن يظهر ارتفاعا في نسبة البطالة بسبب الضغط المتواصل على الشركات التي لا تزال مترددة في توظيف أعداد كبيرة.

الإنفاق الاستهلاكي للأميركيين تراجع بنسبة 1.6% في الربع الثاني من العام (رويترز)
ويرجح الخبراء أن تتراجع الوظائف غير الزراعية بمعدل 87 ألفا في يوليو/تموز, وأن يبلغ معدل البطالة 9.6%، وهو ما يثير المزيد من الشكوك إزاء انتعاش الاقتصاد الهش.



وأظهرت تقارير حكومية بداية الأسبوع أن معدل الدخل وإنفاق المستهلكين في الولايات المتحدة استقرا على غير المتوقع في يونيو/حزيران.



كما تراجعت مبيعات المنازل بشكل قياسي, وانخفضت طلبات المصانع وزاردت معدلات الادخار.



وانخفض الإنفاق الاستهلاكي بمعدل سنوي بلغ 1.6% في الربع الثاني, بالمقارنة مع 1.9% في الربع الأول. ويمثل إنفاق المستهلكين حوالي 70% من مجمل النشاط الاقتصادي بالبلاد.


ويبدي الاقتصاديون قلقا من أن المتاعب المالية سيكون لها تأثيرها على الأسر مما سيتسبب في انحسار الإنفاق بصفة أكثر في النصف الثاني من العام, كما أن النمو الاقتصادي بنصف الوتيرة المطلوبة لم يحرز تقدما يذكر للحد من البطالة التي بلغت 9.5%.



وكانت الحكومة أعلنت الأسبوع الماضي أن النمو الاقتصادي تراجع إلى معدل 2.4% فقط في الربع الثاني من 3.7% في الأشهر الثلاثة الأولى من السنة و5% في الربع الأخير من العام الماضي.
