جيتس: لدى حزب الله الآن صواريخ وقذائف أكثر مما لدى دول كثيرة

حذر وزير الدفاع الأمريكى روبرت جيتس من ان حزب الله اللبناني لديه الآن صواريخ وقذائف أكثر مما لدى دول كثيرة.

واتهم روبرت جيتس سوريا وايران بتزويد حزب الله بالاسلحة ذات "القدرة المتزايدة".

وأضاف بعد محادثات اجراها مع نظيره الاسرائيلي "من الواضح أن هذا يؤدي إلى زعزعة الاستقرار في المنطقة بأسرها".

وقال حزب الله ان مخزونه من الصواريخ لا يضاهي مخزون الولايات المتحدة أو إسرائيل، وتعهد بمواصلة تسليح نفسه.

وقال جيتس في مؤتمر صحفي مشترك بواشنطن مع نظيره الإسرائيلي إيهود باراك "لقد وصلنا الى حد ان حزب الله يملك من القذائف والصورايخ اكثر من غالبية حكومات العالم، وهذا بالتاكيد امر يزعزع استقرار المنطقة".

وأضاف الوزير الأمريكي إن بلاده تراقب الوضع بعناية فائقة معربا عن رضاه التام عن عملية التخطيط في البنتاجون والبيت الأبيض بشأن الملف الإيراني قائلا" نقضي وقتا طويلا في بحث مسألة إيران وسنواصل القيام بذلك".

لكن جيتس لم ينف أو يؤكد تسليم دمشق صواريخ سكود لحزب الله الامر الذي اعلنته اسرائيل مؤخرا ونفته سورية.

من جهته قال باراك إن السوريين يزودون حزب الله بأنظمة تسلح "من شأنها زعزعة التوازن الهش في لبنان".

اتهم جيتس كل من سورية وإيران بتزويد حزب الله بصواريخ

لكنه قلل من احتمالات نشوب حرب جديدة بين الجانبين قائلا "نحن لا نسعى لإثارة أي نوع من الصدام مع لبنان أو مع سورية لكننا نراقب هذه التطورات عن كثب، ونعتقد أنها لا تساهم في استقرار المنطقة".

من جهة اخرى رحب باراك بجهود واشنطن لضمان فرض عقوبات جديدة على ايران على خلفية برنامجها النووي. وقال "اعتقد ان الولايات المتحدة تقوم بامر جيد" معتبرا ان "الوقت حان للعقوبات وللدبلوماسية لكن الوقت سيقول لنا ما إذا كانت العقوبات فاعلة بحق".

وبعد توتر العلاقات الاسرائيلية الاميركية في الاسابيع الاخيرة بسبب سياسة الاستيطان اليهودي في القدس الشرقية، شدد جيتس على ان العلاقات بين البلدين على الصعيد الامني "لا تتزعزع" وهي "اقوى من اي وقت"، فيما اكد باراك ان العلاقات بين اسرائيل وواشنطن "لا يمكن القضاء عليها".

وكان باراك شكر خلال محادثتها مع وزيرة الخارجية الأمريكية هيلاري كلينتون إدارة الرئيس باراك اوباما على "رؤيتها الواضحة لما ينبغي القيام به في الشرق الاوسط لدفعنا معا نحو السلام".

وأبدت كلينتون ارتياحها عقب ما وصفته بمحادثات "بناءة جدا" مع وزير الدفاع الإسرائيلي في الوقت الذي تامل فيه واشنطن في إطلاق مفاوضات غير مباشرة بين بين الاسرائيليين والفلسطينيين.

وكانت الخارجية الامريكية قد استدعت مؤخرا دبلوماسيا سوريا رفيعا على خلفية ماتراه "سلوكا تحريضيا" من جانب بلاده يرتبط باحتمال تزويد دمشق لحزب الله اللبناني بصواريخ من طراز سكود.


واتهم الرئيس الاسرائيلي شيمون بيريز سورية مؤخرا بتزويد حزب الله بصواريخ سكود يمكن ان تصل الى كل الاراضي الاسرائيلية.
