قال الداعية الإسلامى الشيخ محمد حسان، المشرف العام على قناة الرحمة، إنه لم يطالب بتحطيم الآثار أو إجازتها لأى شخص فى فتواه التى صدرت خلال مارس من العام الماضى بشأن بيع الآثار.

وأوضح حسان، فى بيان حصل "اليوم السابع" على نسخة منه، أنه لا يملك دليلاً يثبت أن عمرو بن العاص والصحابة الكرام - رضى الله عنهم - أمروا بتحطيم الآثار بعد الفتح الإسلامى بدليل وجودها إلى اليوم.

وأشار حسان إلى أنه أكد فى فتواه أن الآثار من الركاز التى أجمع عليها جمهور أهل العلم كأبى حنيفة ومالك وأحمد الشافعى وأبى يوسف وغيرهم، مشيرا إلى أنها حق الدولة ولا يجوز لأحد التصرف فيها سواء بالبيع أو الشراء أو بالتهريب والسرقة، وفى حالة أن الدولة رأت أن الآثار بجميع أشكالها وعبر جميع العصور التاريخية لا تندرج تحت الركاز، باعتبارها عملا إنسانيا وملكية عامة للدولة وللحضارة الإنسانية فلا يجوز لأحد أن يتاجر بها، وإن عثر على شىء منها يجب تسليمها للجهات الرسمية المختصة بالآثار.
