عندما كنت متدينا رغم أني شاعر حساس كنت متحجر القلب بسبب الدين
عندما أرى أناس يتألمون ويموتون كان الدين يفسر لي بأنه إما امتحان أو انتقام
أو أن الإله سيتكفل بهم وصلواتنا سترحمهم
وكان البكاء من أجل الإله وليس من أجلهم

ولا دخل لي في حكم الله لأنه هو من فعل وهو من يتكفل وأكثر شيء يمكنني فعله عندما أتألم هو أن أصلي وأدعو وأترقب الآمال (الأوهام)
أخيرا..
خرجت من رحم الأوهام
إلى نور الحقيقة
أشعر بأنني ولدت الآن
الآن أشعر حقا أنني إنسان حقيقي..

نعم أعتقد أن الإيمان بإله يشعرك باكتفاء ذاتي روحي وكأنك فعلت كل الخير على الأرض، بينما تبقيك سلبيا في الحقيقة.
