حظر فرنسي
وفي السياق، طالب وزير الاقتصاد الرقمي في الحكومة الفرنسية أريك بيسون الجمعة حظر استضافة موقع ويكيليكس على الإنترنت من قبل خوادم في فرنسا.

ونقلت صحيفة لو فيغارو الفرنسية عن الوزير قوله إن استضافة فرنسا غير مقبولة، مشيرا إلى أنه لا يمكن لفرنسا أن تستضيف مواقع إنترنت تكشف أسرار العلاقات الدبلوماسية وتعرض حياة أشخاص للخطر.

ولكن موقع ويكيليكس عاد إلى العمل مجددا اليوم الجمعة إثر حصوله على اسم نطاق جديد من سويسرا بعد إغلاقه لفترة من الوقت.

وقد استبدل اسم النطاق القديم (
wikileaks.org) باسم جديد (wikileaks.ch)، وكان الموقع قد أقفل نحو ست ساعات تقريبا اليوم بعد أن أعلنت الشركة الأميركية المانحة لاسم النطاق الخاص به عن توقفها عن تقديم خدمات له.

وكان الموقع قد تعرض منذ يوم الأحد الماضي حين بدأ بالكشف عن الوثائق إلى عدة هجمات إلكترونية.

يذكر أن موقع ويكيليكس نشر من خلال خمس صحف ما يزيد عن ربع مليون وثيقة تضم مراسلات بين السفارات الأميركية في العالم ووزارة الخارجية الأميركية، وقد أثار نشر هذه المعلومات موجة من ردود الفعل الدولية، تركزت بمعظمها على الدبلوماسية الأميركية في الشرق الأوسط.
