1-London Museum

A- Tate Modern
1- The three floors of this museum dedicated to the modern art, proved to be an

irresistible attraction to the visitor since its opening.

2- It’s located in an old electric energy plant, an attraction by itself, specially the engines

room.

3-There’re works of great modern painters like Picasso, Rothko or Pollock, to name only

a few.



2- Oxford Museums

A-Oxford University Museum of Natural History
1- The Museum of Natural History lodges the zoological, entomological, paleontological

and mineral objects collections of the University of Oxford.

2- Until mid 19th century, these collections were scattered through the different

dependencies of the University.

3- In 1860 the professor Sir Henry Acland proposed to construct an outside building that

reunited those collections and served as the training centre on natural sciences of the

University.

A- This museum has one of the most important collections of fine and decorative arts of

Europe.

1- The Italian and Dutch painting collections of 14th through 16th centuries, with works f artists like Rembrandt, Rubens, Poussin and Degas.

3- And an important collection of Victorian and pre-rafaelist art are their most interesting permanent exhibitions.
