أعلنت روسيا الاتحادية الخميس أنها ليست على قناعة أن مشروع القرار المعدل الذي طرحته بعض الدول الغربية على مجلس الأمن حول سورية يمكن أن يسهم بإجراء حوار وبلوغ تسوية سياسية, معبرة عن مخاوف من أن تدخل مجلس الأمن في الشؤون السورية يمكن أن يسفر اليوم عن احتدام الموقف.

وبدأ مجلس الأمن في وقت متأخر الأربعاء بمناقشة مشروع قرار (معدل) تقدمت به 4 دول أوروبية من بينها فرنسا وبريطانيا يدين ما اسمه "القمع للمتظاهرين" في سورية.

وقال مندوب روسيا الدائم لدى الأمم المتحدة فيتالي تشوركين في حديث لقناة فيستي 24 للتلفزة الروسية إن "روسيا ليست على قناعة بأن مشروع القرار المعدل الذي طرحته بعض الدول الغربية على مجلس الأمن حول سورية يمكن أن يسهم بإجراء حوار وبلوغ تسوية سياسية, وأنه يمكن أن يسفر عن عواقب معاكسة".

وفشل مجلس الأمن في أواخر نيسان الماضي في التوصل إلى اتفاق حول بيان مشترك تقدمت به 4 دول اوروبية لإدانة سورية بما اسمته "القمع ضد المحتجين" وذلك بسبب رفض روسيا والصين لهذا البيان, فيما اعتبرت سورية الانتقادات الموجهة اليها بمثابة "تشجيع للتطرف والإرهاب".

وأضاف تشوركين أن "الكلام يدور حاليا عن قرار لا ينص على أي تدابير عقابية ناهيك عن أنه لا ينص على استخدام القوة ضد أي كان إضافة إلى أن النص الذي طرح على طاولة مجلس الأمن اليوم لمواصلة المناقشة جرى تخفيف لهجته إلى حد كبير مقارنة مع النص السابق".

وتابع المندوب الروسي "مع ذلك أبدينا مع بعض زملائنا في مجلس الأمن شكوكا جدية فيما يتعلق بجدوى مناقشة هذه المسألة ولدينا مخاوف من أن تدخل مجلس الأمن في الشؤون السورية يمكن أن يسفر اليوم على العكس عن احتدام الموقف [u]لأن ذلك قد يفهم بصورة غير صحيحة من قبل القوى المعارضة الهدامة في سورية"[/u]
