أرشفة جوجل مؤقتة فقط، تستمر لعدة أسابيع (أتكلم عن google cache ولا أعلم عن مشروع أرشفة آخر) هنالك مشروع أرشيف الإنترنت لكنه لا يفي بالغرض دوما فبعض المواقع لا تؤرشف كلها وبعض المواقع يمكنها منع الأرشفة بواسطة robots.txt وإخوانه... مشكلتي مع الأرشيف أنه يتم بشكل آلي ولا يختار المواقع المهمة بنظري. كما أنه من الصعب التعامل معه، هو جيد لتصفح صفحات معينة وليس لتصفح موقع كامل.

على سبيل المثال مدونة أرض الرمال (بن كريشان) اختفت فجأة (اخترقت ربما) وحذفت كل محتوياتها وهي غير مؤرشفة بموقع أرشيف... لولا وجود بعض من احتفظوا بنسخ عنها لاختفت إحدى مدونات الإلحاد العربية المهمة (قد تكون أول مدونة إلحادية متخصصة).
