بعد زواج دام‏15عاما قرر تاجر الزواج من أخري وبعد أن أقام حفل الزفاف شعر الزوج بالندم والحسرة علي زوجته الأولي فقرر ترك عروسه الجديدة والمبيت مع الأولي‏..‏
إلا أن المفاجأة جاءت أمام اللواء خالد غرابة مساعد الوزير لأمن الاسكندرية. من الاخطار الذي تلقاه العميد ابراهيم عبدالعاطي مأمور قسم شرطة الدخيلة بانتحار عروس في العقد الثاني من عمرها ودلت التحريات التي أشرف عليها اللواء فيصل دويدار مدير الادارة للبحث الجنائي وباشرها عاطف أبو الوفا رئيس مباحث الدخيلة أن سبب الانتحار قيام تاجر بالدخيلة بتركها في ليلة الزفاف والمبيت مع زوجته الأولي فأصيبت العروس بحالة اكتئاب وغافلت أفراد أسرتها وتناولت مبيدا حشريا وفارقت الحياة وأخطرت النيابة التي تولت التحقيق باشراف عبدالجليل حماد رئيس نيابة الدخيلة.
