الكنيسة والمسيحيون بصفة عامة يرون أن وصول الإخوان المسلمون والسلفيون الى الحكم سيكون فيه خطر داهم عليهم وعلى حياتهم وممتلكاتهم وعباداتهم لأن الإسلاميون بصفة عامة لهم نظرة عنصرية ومقت شديد للديانة المسيحية والمسيحيين ..

وكان من خطايا المجلس العسكرى أنه سمح للإخوان وللسلفيين بعمل أحزاب مع أنه فى القانون ممنوع عمل أحزاب على أساس دينى ولكن تم التحايل على هذا القانون .. إذاً نحن أمام وضع خاطئ قانوناً ويهدد وحدة الدولة وحقوق المواطنة للأقباط فيها من قبل الإسلاميون العنصريين إذا وصلوا الى الحكم .

فإذا كانت الكنيسة ترشد أبنائها لكى يتكتلوا خلف مرشحين معينيين لكى يقدروا على الصمود أمام جحافل الإخوان والسلفيين فما العيب فى ذلك ؟ إذا كان الوضع خاطئ أصلاً ومفروض على الكنيسة والمسيحيين بوجود أحزاب على أساس دينى .
