جميع من ترك الإخوان أفكارهم تنويرية حول الدولة..ومفهوم تطبيق الشريعة لديهم هو مفهوم إصلاحي حضاري وليس كهنوتي به حدود وحِسبة وما إلى ذلك مما يتبناه الإخوان على برنامجهم السياسي...أيضا ففكرة الإخوان عن تطبيق الشريعة لم تكن هي المُعلنة الآن، وقد درست في الإخوان معنى الشريعة وأظنها لا تختلف عن ما يدعو إليه أبو الفتوح من إصلاح حضاري شامل قائم على التوافق الوطني..لكن أنا فعلا أستغرب تحول الإخوان المفاجئ في قضية الشريعة هذه..وقد تكون بسبب رغبتهم مغازلة أصوات السلفيين...وهو بالمحصلة ضعف كبير.
