بعد أن تخيل الزميل فانسي أن أيمن بقلة يؤيد عدم تواتر القرآن ونقل عنه نقلا غير أمين استنتج أن القرآن غير متواتر ثم تخيل مرة أخرى وجود فتاوى تبيح قتل من يقول بعدم التواتر. يقول الزميل:
