I think that Atmaca has a good point ...

but regarding the issue of listening to music and songs, is there any clear statement from the holly quran or the prohpet about prohebiting singing and listening to music?

My own openion is that as long as im doing what ive been ordered to do then im free to listen to music as long as it doesn't lead to any "Fahisha"!!!! ...what do you think?
