بتقديري أن موضوع الأخلاق مرتبط بحثيتين أخريتين هما
الواقع والقيمة
فالواقع هو الواقع
أما القيمة فهي قيمة الشيء أو الحدث وهنا قضية نفعية مصلحية محضة
أما الأخلاق فقضية طقسية لا تغير في محتوى الشيء ( الواقع ) ولا في قيمته

مثال :
الواقع : هو وجود الكائن الحي و وجود الهواء
القيمة هي قيمة الهواء ودوره في استمرار الحياة
الأخلاق متطفل يحدد طقسا للتنفس فيكون تنفسا بإدغام أو ترتيلا
أما عملية التنفس وقيمة الهواء فلا تتأثر بالطقس التنفسي بالتالي فالأخلاق إضافة ليست بذات فعالية ولا تغير من واقع الأمر شيئا

إلا أن هنالك نوعا من الخلط الذي يدمج القيم بالأخلاق فتبدو الأخلاق وكأنها صانعة وقائع فيصبح الدين أو الفلسفة أحد مصادر القيم وهذا غير صحيح
فالقيمة ذات مصدر مادي واقعي أما الأخلاق فعملية طقسية لا تغير في الواقع شيئا
