في اعتقادي المبسط هو اننا بحاجة الى مصلح ديني في البداية الى جانب  رجل سياسي في المقدمة الاولى وما ان اتفق الاثنان سيتجلى النور من جديد وهي مسألة  ليست صعبة ولكن أين ذلك الحاكم !!!

رغم اتفاقي معك في الكثير إلا أن لي بعض التعليقات .
1- لا أرى أنه كان هناك عصر للتنوير العربي بالمعنى الدقيق ، فقط كانت هناك ومضة ليبرالية في مصر خبت سريعا ، وهي عموما لا تنتمي للشعب المصري كله بل تنتمي للأرستقراطية و البرجوازية العليا المصرية في بداية القرن العشرين و حتى الثلاثينات منه ،هذه الليبرالية قامت على أكتاف نخب مكونة أساسا من الأتراك و الشوام و بعض المصريين المتأثرين بالغرب كلية ، و لكنها لم تكن نتاج طبيعي لتطور الثقافة العربية في مصر أو غيرها ، هذا الربيع الليبرالي غير المسبوق ولا المتبوع لم يكن له أثر في معظم المجتمعات العربية بل ولم يعد أثر في مصر ذاتها ، وربما تتذكر أنه كانت لنا مناقشة سابقة حول هذا الموضوع و يمكن أن نعود له لاحقا بالتفصيل .
2- أختلف معك حول (أننا بحاجة الى مصلح ديني في البداية الى جانب رجل سياسي في المقدمة الاولى وما ان اتفق الاثنان سيتجلى النور من جديد) ، أرى أنه لا يوجد مصلح تنويري بل هناك فقط زمن تنويري و عصر تنويري ، الثقافة هي التي تخلق ممثليها و التنوير يصنع رموزه و ليس العكس ، إن البرجوازية الفرنسية هي التي صنعت الليبرالية و ليس فولتير ، فولتير هو رمز لعصر لم يصنعه فولتير و لكنه هو الذي صنع فولتير و عشرات من الفولتيرات !، إنني مؤمن بالعلاقة الجدلية بين الفكر و المادة ، بين العلاقات الإقتصادية و القيم و الأفكار السائدة ، الأصولية كانت دائما هناك و ليست طارئة ، و التنوير لم يفشل بل نحن الذين فشلنا في أن نتطور و نتحدث ، أما عن فشل العرب في تحقيق الحداثة فهو موضوع طويل ، ولا أستبعد العامل الإقتصادي و تأثير الطفرة البترولية في تغول الأصولية في مجتمعات فقيرة جدا لدرجة لا تصدق ، علينا إذا أن نذهب بأفكارنا إلى تحديد شروط الحداثة و كيف تحقيقها وقتئذ سوف تتدفق الأفكار و يتكاثر المصلحون بقدر ما تستوعب استوديوهات التليفزيون و صفحات الجرائد ، فما أيسر تجمع المثقفون حول الأموال في مظانها ! .
