سنة 1994 م..


كنت في سن الثامنة عندما اشتعلت شرارة الأحداث في البحرين..كانوا يتكلمون عن..برلمان..دستور..مظاهرات..مصطلحات كانت مبهمة بالنسبة لي..

" البرلمان هو الحل "
" نحن لا نشاغب..بحقنا نطالب "
" يا يزيد الظلم لا يدوم "

مثل هذه الكتابات وغيرها..اعتدت ان أقرأها على جدران البيوت والمساجد والمآتم..
كان الوضع شديد التوتر..والناس لا يتكلمون إلا همساً..فللجدران آذان..
وكلمة وحيدة من أحدهم كفيلة بأن تغيّبه في سجون الموت سنوات طويلة..
والمنشورات السرية المذيلة باسم "حركة أحرار البحرين" يتداولها الناس خفية..وبحذر شديد
وأحياناً كثيرة هذه المنشورات تمزق..أو تحرق..بعد قراءتها..

في هذه المرحلة المظلمة..وعندما كنت أزور بيت جدي..كنت دائماً ما أسمع أخباراً مثل..اعتقلوا فلان..ضربوا فلان..فتشوا منزل فلان
فلان أرجعوه جثة هامدة إلى أمه !

كنت أشكر الله ألف مرة لأن أبي..بعيد عن كل هذا..بعيد عن حراس الليل..وسارقي الأمان..كون منزلنا يقع في منطقة سنية
لا حصار يفرض عليها..لا مداهمات..لا طرقات هادرة مخيفة على أبواب المنازل..لا صوت صراخ..لا صوت بكاء
ورغم ذلك..كان الخوف يأكلني من الداخل..
والأوضاع الغير مستقرة ألقت بظلالها السيئة على حياتي بشكل عام.. مُترجمة على شكل أحلام وكوابيس..تمتلئ دماً وقتلاً وتعذيباً..سوداء بلون الظلم..حمراء بلون الدم..
