تنظم الرئاسة العامة للاستخبارات في السعودية اليوم، وبعد 50 عاما على تأسيسها، أول مؤتمر لتقنية المعلومات والأمن الوطني، حيث تم توجيه الدعوة لأكثر من 3 آلاف شخصية. وكشف الأمير عبد العزيز بن بندر بن عبد العزيز مساعد رئيس الاستخبارات العامة في السعودية، عن رصد قرابة الـ17 ألف موقع الكتروني، تعمل على بث الفكر التكفيري. وقال في لقاء تلفزيوني بث أول من أمس على القناة الأولى الحكومية «أن جهاز الاستخبارات لا يستطيع وحده الحد من خطر هذه المواقع»، وهو ما يفسر إقامة الجهاز مؤتمرا لتقنية المعلومات هو الأول من نوعه، سيفتتح اليوم بدعم من القيادة السياسية.
وتسعى رئاسة الاستخبارات العامة من خلال هذا المؤتمر للتواصل المباشر مع الباحثين والمهتمين بتقنية المعلومات الحديثة، وإثراء الجانب البحثي والمعرفي في مجالات تقنية المعلومات والأمن الوطني، بالإضافة إلى فئات المجتمع المختلفة، وإثراء الجانب المعرفي وزيادة الخبرات المكتسبة لدى منسوبي الرئاسة ومنسوبي أجهزة الأمن الوطني، وذلك عن طريق معرفة الجوانب التقنية والتطبيقات الفنية التي يمكن استخدامها في مجال المعلوماتية بمفهومها الشامل لخدمة صنّاع القرار ومتخذيه. ويتيح المؤتمر، الذي ترعاه صحيفة «الشرق الأوسط» إعلاميا، الفرصة للباحثين والمهتمين للالتقاء والتحاور حول توظيف واستخدامات تقنية المعلومات الحديثة في المجالات الأمنية، وذلك من خلال تحفيز وتشجيع الباحثين في مجالات التقنية الحديثة على توطين هذه التقنيات بما يخدم الأمن الوطني بمفهومه الشامل، وتشجيع التواصل بين المؤسسات الأمنية والباحثين والخبراء في مجال تقنية المعلومات والاتصالات، ورصد إيجابيات وسلبيات تقنية المعلومات والاتصالات في مجال الأمن الوطني، وإطلاع العاملين في المؤسسات الأمنية على الابتكارات والتطورات الحديثة في مجال تقنية المعلومات الأمنية.

وستكون المشاركة النسائية في المؤتمر عالية جدا، حيث تمت دعوة 500 سيدة من داخل السعودية وخارجها من ضمن 3 آلاف شخصية.
