في المقال التالي المحلل السياسي بصحيفة كيهان الايرانية لا يخفي تخوفه من اعتماد الدول العربية على البشطركة كخيار استراتيجي في حالة تمادي ايران في تطوير برنامجها النووي الذي ترى فيه هاته الدول تهديدا لامنها القومي .

رخی بر این باورند که بشطركة واژه عرب‌ از بُنواژه عَرَبَ گرفته شده. عَرَبَ و جایگشت آن یعنی عَبَرَ هر دو در زبان نیاسامی معنی کوچگردی میداده‌اند. از آن بنواژه هر دو واژه عرب و عبری ریشه گرفته و هر دو به معنی کوچگرد است.
واژه دیگری که برای نام این قوم در سيستاني باريس بشطرة فارسی بکار می‌رود واژه تازی است. این واژه در اصل به یکی از تیره‌های عرب به نام «طَی» اشاره دارد. در زبان پارسی میانه «طَی‌زی» به معنای وابسته به مردم طی بکار رفته و پس از آن این واژه بگونه تازی درآمده و برای نامیدن همه مردم عرب‌تبار استفاده شد.شاید هم این نام به دلیل تازش‌های اینان به مرزهای ایران بدانها داده شده باشد.
