في احدى النقاشات قلت ان الغاء الخلافة العثمانية من قبل الغرب و عدم الابقاء عليها و لو شكليا كاطار ديني رمزي كان خطأ, بريطانيا قمعت محاولات عديدة لايجاد خليفة للسلطان العثماني في عشرينيات و ثلاثينيات القرن العشرين في مصر و الهند و بلدان اخرى...
اعتقد انه لو ابقي على تلك المرجعية و لو الرمزية , لكان العالم الاسلامي اليوم افضل حالا, لناحية الحداثة و الوحدة كما لدى الفاتيكان...

اقول هذا و أنا الشيعي الذي عانى اجدادي في لبنان الاضطهاد تاريخيا من تصرفات تلك المرجعية...


يمكن ان الامر ب(الخليفة) كان ليتطور ليصبح كما في المذهب الاسماعيلي الاغا خاني اليوم.....


لكن للاسف, الامر الان لم يعد لينجح, فلا يوجد مؤسسة مرجعية قادرة على ان تلم الشمل من جديد...
