البحرين تلغي نظام الكفيل !!
الغت البحرين نظام الكفيل المعمول به منذ فترة طويلة للعاملين الأجانب. وهو النظام الذي لقي انتقادات كثيرة من منظمات حقوق الانسان.

وقال علي أحمد راضي الرئيس التنفيذي لهيئة تنظيم سوق العمل لوكالة الأنباء الفرنسية إنه بداية من 1 أغسطس المقبل ستتحمل حكومة البحرين بالكامل مسؤولية تنظيم العمالة الأجنبية بالمملكة حيث سيصدر لهم تصاريح عمل تجدد كل سنتين.

وقالت وكالة الأنباء الفرنسية إن إلغاء نظام الكفيل المعمول به في بقية دول الخليج سيسمح للعمال الأجانب بتغيير وظائفهم دون إذن الكفيل وينهي سوء الاستخدام في بيع تصاريح العمل والذي يلقى انتقادات على نطاق واسع.

وقال راضي إن البحرين تريد العمل وفقا للتنظيمات الدولية ومعايير حقوق الانسان فيما يتعلق بالعمالة الأجنبية.

وأضاف قائلا "كما ان النظام الجديد سيوفر مرونة أكبر في تأمين احتياجات سوق العمل في البحرين".

ويزيد عدد سكان البحرين عن مليون نسمة نحو نصفهم من المواطنين، فيما يبلغ عدد العمال الأجانب نحو 300 ألف أغلبهم من الهنود.
