لقد كنت أبحث قبل حوالي ستة أشهر في أصول و مصدر قصة ( طير الأبابيل ) !

غير أن ما تشير اليه الروايات يتلخص في انه لم هناك هناك لا طير أبابيل و لا هم يحزنون !

القصة تتلخص في انه عندما جاء إبرهة بجيش من الفيلة لهدم الكعبة , قام عبد المطلب جد النبي بالتفاوض معه , فوافق إبرهة ان يترك أمر هدم الكعبة مقابل ان يأخذ معه عدد ليس بقليل من أغنام و إبل عبد المطلب , و يغادر إبره دون أن يهدم الكعبة ولكنه أخذ ما أخذ من الغنائم , فقام عبد المطلب و من معه بتلفيق قصة ( طير الأبابيل ) حتى تكون لكعبتهم هيبة و وقار و سمعه محترمة و مكانة مرموقة على الاقل بما انه اعطى مالديه من بهائم مقابل عدم هدمها , و من ثم و ضعها محمد في قالب شعري و قافية متزنة لتتلائم مع باقي سور القرآن و سماها بسورة الفيل !

( طير الأبابيل ) ليس سوى طير أسطوري و إلا أين هو من نصرة باقي المسلمين طيلة تلك القرون المنصرمة ؟ !
