الحكم على 126 عراقية بالإعدام

كشفت المنظمة العربية لحقوق الإنسان فرع الأردن أن السلطات العراقية أصدرت مؤخرًا أحكامًا بالإعدام على 126 سجينة عراقية ستنفذ في تسع منهن في عيد الأضحى المبارك يوم الجمعة المقبل.

واستنكرت المنظمة في بيان لها أمس الاثنين تلك الأحكام وقالت إنها صدرت خلال محاكمات صورية، مما يجعلها تفتقر إلى المعايير الدولية العادلة وحقوق الإنسان.

وتلقت نفس المنظمة -حسب بيانها- مناشدة من اللجنة التنسيقية للحملة العالمية لإطلاق سراح المعتقلات العراقيات، تفيد أن السلطات العراقية اعتقلت ألف عراقي بينهم 126 امرأة.

وأشارت إلى أن جميع هؤلاء النسوة حكم عليهن بالإعدام، مؤكدة أنهن من حملة الشهادات الجامعية العليا، وشغلن مناصب حكومية في عهد النظام العراقي السابق قبل الاحتلال الأميركي.

وطالبت المنظمة الأمم المتحدة ومجلس الأمن وكافة منظمات حقوق الإنسان ودول العالم، القيام بواجبها لوقف تنفيذ أحكام الإعدام المذكورة، والإفراج عن المعتقلين الذين وصفتهم بأنهم من معتقلي الرأي.

وذكر بيان المنظمة أن تلك المحاكمة الصورية لم تستند إلى أي جريمة جزائية مسندة إلى المعتقلات.
