أعتقد انك تخلط بين الأمور، فأنا مثلا لا أعتبر المعابد الفرعونية مجرد أحجار. و في نفس الوقت "أدعي العروبة" على حسب قولك.
فالعروبي جمال عبد الناصر (أو "مدعي العروبة" على حد قولك) الذي كان يهز الجماهير العربية من الخليج إلى المحيط ، كان على صدام شديد مع الإخوان المسلمين و من لف لفهم و قد حاولوا اغتياله.
أما الرئيس "المؤمن" الذي رفض العروبة فأطلقهم من السجون و كانت النتيجة أن براقش جنت على نفسها.

العروبة أممت القنال، فأعادته لمصر و بنت السد العالي

أجبني: هل تعرف جول جمال؟

هو ضابط بحري سوري و مسيحي أيضا أستشهد في مياه مصر مدافعا عنها أثناء العدوان الثلاتي المعروف في الغرب باسم "حرب القنال". هل تعرف لماذا اندفع يدافع عن أرض مصر؟
العروبة تاريخيا كانت الرد الفكري على العثمانية .... أنا كنت قد قلت هنا أنني لست من أنصار دراسة التاريخ من زاوية ربما و لو و غيرها من لأدوات التمني .... و لكن حسنا، سأتخيل مثلك:
لكانت مصر و سائر الشرق العربي ولايات عثمانية و لبقيت تركيا على تخلفها و بقينا متخلفين معها ... نعم يا سيدي لولا لانفصال العرب يقيادة "مدعي العروبة" عن تركيا لما تهاوت "الخلافة" العثمانية المتخلفة و لما تمهدت الطريق في تركيا لظهور المصلح العظيم مصطفى كمال أتاتورك الذي بنى تركيا الحديثة.

العروبة و الإسلام السياسي ليسا مرادفان و إنما طرفا نقيض، فالعروبة فكر علماني و لعله الفكر العلماني الوحيد القادرعلى طرح بديل جدي لما يطرحه السلفيون و الأصوليون في قضية الهوية. و لذلك يشن فرعا الطابور الخامس الإمبريالي (القطريون و الأسلامجيون) حربا لا هوادة فيها على العروبة تشترك فيها أنت ربما عن جهل.
