هناك أبعاد كثيرة لهذه القضية... بعد إقتصادى (لتحمل تكاليف العلاج او المسكنات) و بعد إنسانى (لتخليص المريض من آلامه اللتى لا تحتمل)...

مثال بسيط..

فى مصر تصل تكلفة العلاج من الإلتهات الكبدى الوبائى سى (Hepatitis C) إلى 70 ألف جنيه على مدى يصل تقريبا إلى سنة (المريض يحتاج إلى 48 حقنة من الدواء بمعدل حقنة إسبوعيا و هناك 30% من الحالات لا تستجيب للعلاج)... هذا للإلتهاب الكبدى فقط... ولا داعى لذكر تكاليف العلاج من السرطان...

بصراحة لا أدرى إذا كان القتل الرحيم خدمة أم جريمة.. فلكل شئ مساوئ و محاسن.. و لكن بغض النظر عن معتقداتى فإنى أرى أن القتل الرحيم غير عادل لآن المريض قد يأخذ القرار فى وقت يتعرض فيه لضغوط الألم و لكنه إذا ذهب هذا الألم قد يتخلى عن قراره... كذلك القتل الرحيم سيفتح الباب للأنشطة الإجرامية لا حد لها.. و شكرا
