وقعت سلسلة انفجارات في عدد من محطات مترو انفاق لندن صباح الخميس، كما وقعت ثلاث انفجارات اخرى في حافلات لنقل الركاب بشوارع العاصمة البريطانية.

واصيب العديد من الاشخاص من جراء الانفجارات.

وقال وزير الداخلية البريطاني كينيث كلارك ان اصابات خطيرة وقعت من جراء الانفجارات.

وافاد احد شهود العيان ان هناك عدد من الجثث بين الانقاض في محطة مترو ايدجوير رود.

كما قال شاهد عيان اخر انه رأى جثث قتلى في منطقة راسل سكوير.

وفي الوقت ذاته قال عدد من شهود العيان في مواقع متفرقة من لندن ان الانفجارات اسقطت العديد من الضحايا.

وقالت تقارير انه تم العثور على عبوة ناسفة باحد صناديق القمامة بلندن.

واكدت شرطة لندن ان الانفجارات شملت ست محطات للمترو.

وقالت الشرطة ان ثلاث انفجارات وقعت في حافلات نقل الركاب.

وقال شهود عيان إنهم شاهدوا سقف حافلة يتطاير من جراء الانفجار.

وقال رئيس الوزراء البريطاني توني بلير انه لا يعرف ما اذا كانت هذه الانفجارات عمل ارهابي ام لا.

وقال مسؤولون بريطانيون إن بلير الموجود في اسكوتلندا حيث ينعقد مؤتمر قمة الدول الصناعية الكبرى، يراقب الموقف عن كثب، بينما يجتمع وزراء آخرون في لندن لمتابعة الموقف.

وقال المسؤولون إنه ليست هناك خطة عاجلة لعودة بلير الى مقره في العاصمة البريطانية.

وقد هرعت سيارات الاطفاء والشرطة والاسعاف الى مواقع الانفجار.

كما أخليت جميع محطات المترو في العاصمة البريطانية كإجراء احترازي.

وقال متحدث باسم رجال الاطفاء ان هناك عدد من الاصابات.

وقالت شرطة النقل ان "الدوي" الذي سمع بالمحطة ربما كان ذا صلة بالكهرباء
