بصراحة هذه المقابلة خيبت أملي... يعني هي اختصار لأهم الوثائق المسربة التي تهم العالم العربي، وبعض الكلام عنها...

لم نعرف المزيد عن ويكي ليكس لا عن تاريخها أو مبادئها ولا عن اتهامات التي يواجهها أسانج الشخصية (لا تهمني كثيرا، ربما اشترط عدم ذكرها) ولا عن تعامل الموقع مع الهجوم ومحاولة الرقابة الحكومية وموقفه من الشركات الأمريكية التي أوقفت تعاملاتها مع ويكيليكس من أمازون وحتى ماستر كارد... جريدة الأخبار تنشر وثائق ويكي ليكس (على حد زعمها على الأقل) ولم يسأل عن صحة التعاون بينهم وبين الأخبار وكيف حصلوا على الوثائق...

المهم أننا سألناه هل هو عميل للموساد أو جزء من مؤامرة إسرائيلية فقام بالإنكار وانتهت مهمتنا الصحفية.

برأيي أسانج ليس بالأهمية التي تسبغ عليه، قام باستخدام تقنيات متوفرة بشكل حر ليؤسس منصة تسريب ملفات آمنة. البطل هو برادلي ماننغ الذي (على ما يبدو) سرب أكثر من مليون وثيقة (عن العراق وأفغانستان والآن الرسائل الدبلوماسية)... ويكي ليكس هي من قامت بالنشر (بالتنسيق مع الصحف) لكن البطل الذي يواجه عقوبة قد تصل إلى السجن المؤبد هو برادلي مانينغ وعلينا تذكر ذلك بينما أسانج ينتقل من استوديو إلى استوديو (وربما من فراش إلى فراش) حرا طليقا.
