أعتقد أن هناك عوامل أساسية سببت هذا الوضع

أولا هو انعدام الوعي  لدى الناخبات و الناخبين أيضاً مما يجعلهم ينتخبون على اساس قبلي مثلاً أو يقبلون ببيع الأصوات على الرغم من ثراء الكويتيين نسبياً
الوعي موجود ... ولكن لا بد وأن تجد من يبيع صوته وضميره في أي بقعة في العالم ، وخصوصا إذا كان المبلغ مغر ، والمرتشي بحاجة شديدة للمال ...

ولكن هناك رفض شعبي عام لعملية شراء الأصوات ، وتصاعدت الأصوات المنددة بهذه العملية وخصوصا في الايام الأخيرة قبل يوم الانتخاب ...

وهذا فيديو ... يوضح الاعتصام أمام مخفر شرطة الجابرية للاحتجاج على عملية شراء الأصوات التي قام بها النائب جمال حسين العمر وتقديم بلاغ ضده :
