ثالثا - أين حقوق المرأة في هذا النص؟ لو فرضنا أن الفتاة الصالحة ذو العذرة غيرت رأيها, فلم تعد راضية بالزواج من شخص يقذفها بالباطل. كيف يكون حالها مستقبلا, بعد أن فقدت عذريتها من طرف أبيها أو أمها. كيف يكون حالها عندما يتقدم لها شخص آخر من أجل الزواج؟ هل ستكون الحجة شهادة الشيوخ بدل علامة العذرية؟
أولاً: ما زال قائماً بصورة أخرى .

ثانياً: إزالة بكارة الفتاة المتزوجة تكون من خلال المعاشرة الزوجية الطبيعية بين الرجل وزوجته .

ثالثاً : إذا إدعى الرجل على زوجته أنها ليست عذراء فهذا الأمر تحكم فيه الكنيسة بناء على التحقيقات ... وإذا ثبت عدم عذرية الفتاة يكون بطلان زواج وليس طلاق لأن الزواج قام على خداع فهو باطل .
وإذا ثبت كذب الزوج يكون له عقاب كنسى ويلتزم بالمعيشة مع زوجته .. لا طلاق إلا لعلة الزنى .. ويقدم توبة على كذبه وإفترائه .
