Issue # 2:
“Getting what you want from life needs directed motivation. If you want to get somewhere you have to know where you want to go and how to get there. Also, it is vital to know what you want to do and what you can do best. This is part of being focused and organized. And to all this must be added deep desire, a driving force, and the willingness to work, to work, to work – and never, never, never to give up; never to quit. Always remember, ‘The quitter never wins and the winner never quits.’ That sort of thing is vital to the person who never thinks of failing and who doesn’t intend to.”
Norman Vincent Peale, You Can If You Think You Can.

My Personal News Letter
Issue # 6:
“The ‘if only’ attitude leads to a dull and uninspired reaction to things. But ‘next time’ signifies a positive and courageous attack on problems. Drop the ‘if only’ concept, pick up the ‘next time’ idea, and you will have the ability to do your best and move ahead unhampered by whatever happens.
Live a day at a time and do a job at a time. Then go on to the next time. That makes sense. But, unhappily, lots of people don’t do that. Instead, they live in the past, present, and the future all at the same time. And that doesn’t make sense. What an error to waste mental energy brooding over past events or worrying about problems that might develop at some future time and then again might not. The successful person learns to live in the present only, but always headed towards next time.”
