كل ما يحدد طبيعة البشر هي ثلاثة امور (جينات+تنشئة+عوامل ما فوق وراثية تتسبب في تحوير الشيفرات الوراثية) ,هناك دراسة في احدى المجلات العلمية تبين فيها ان التوائم المتطابقة يزيد فيها احتمال تشابه بعض انماط السلوك مثل المثلية والتوحد
على سبيل المثال في حالة اصابة احد التوائم بالتوحد فان احتمال اصابة الاخر 70%
حيث هناك دراسات لبعض التوائم المتطابقة الذين تفرقوا منذ الصغر وعند التقاء هؤلاء التوائم وجدت الكثير من السلوكيات المتشابهة مثل حالة التوأم المتطابق (جيم) jim twins)

لذلك كما يقول الزميل عبدالله فمفهوم الروح مناسب للعصور الوسطى وما قبلها اما من ناحية علمية بحتة فلا يوجد ادنى دليل على وجود الروح
